Why do we tell people about Jesus? Who is called to be a missionary? Are we working to fulfill The Great Commission?

Jesus “The Messiah” came to solve this problem by becoming the most perfect sacrifice possible. He died to permanently pay for the sins of humanity.

- The Crucifixion: Matthew 27:32-54, Mark 15:21-39, Luke 23:26-48, John 19:16-30

Death was ultimately defeated by the Resurrection.
- The Resurrection: Matthew 28:1-7, Mark 16:1-8, Luke 24:1-7
- Death has been conquered: 1 Corinthians 15: 16-22
Jesus lives again.

Jesus appears to his family, friends, and disciples numerous times after the Resurrection.
The Great Commission

Jesus tells us that we are all missionaries.

Jesus instructs us to share the gospel and make disciples.
- Go all over the world: Matthew 28:19
- But don’t forget about your local community: Acts 1:8

He seals this final command with a promise.
